So excited....

I have pictures of some photo frames that I have done (see below) posted on Facebook and in the last 24 hours I have had requests for 6 frames! I have decided to charge $15 per 4 x 6 frame so if you know anyone that wants one.....

Picture frames

I have made(decorated) several picture frames as gifts for people and everyone seems to love them. I have been told numerous times that I should sell them. So, how much would you pay for something like this? These frames all hold 4x6 pictures.

Changing Pad

Another project!
I found this tutorial for a changing pad clutch at Small Fry & Co. and decided to make one to go with the diaper bag I am making. I used vinyl for the "inside" where the baby will be laying. They only thing I did differently from the tutorial was make the Velcro on the inside a long strip so it will be more adjustable. I am really happy with how it turned out. Here are some pictures.

Jean Skirt

My son seems to always get holes in the knees of his pants. I decided to make a skirt out of some holey kneed jeans for my daughter. It sounded pretty simple but I realized that I couldn't just undo the leg seam and sew them together. There really wasn't enough fabric for that. So I ended up using extra material from the cut off legs to fill in on the front and back. I didn't take pictures of the process but here is the finished result (along with my dog's legs in the picture)! I think it turned out pretty cute - although next time I will probably just make them in to shorts.

I am now a blogger

I decided today, on a total whim, to start my own blog. I have been reading other peoples blogs and getting lots of creative ideas for awhile, so I thought maybe it was time to start my own. I don't really know what it will be about at this point but I would say anything from crafts to my family is fair game!
